CAA’s 101st Annual Conference

CAA’s 101st Annual Conference will take place February 13–16, 2013, at the Hilton New York in midtown Manhattan. Join over 6,000 artists, art historians, students, educators, critics, curators, collectors, librarians, and gallerists for four days of presentations and panel discussions exploring the study, practice, and history of art and visual culture. The conference program boasts more than 200 sessions, a variety of career-development workshops for professionals at all stages of their careers, mentoring and networking opportunities, and prospects for interviews with colleges, universities, and museums. The Book and Trade Fair will gather dozens of publishers of art books, journals, and magazines, the leading manufacturers and distributors of materials for artists, and cutting-edge providers of digital images and resources, among other companies and organizations. On Wednesday, February 13, 2013, the Guggenheim Museum will host the Opening Night Reception. In addition, schools, museums, and galleries will host special events and exhibitions throughout New York.
